There seems to be some confusion in the north-central part of the state concerning the ministers of Metropolitan Community Church and Cascade Community Church in Akron. To set the record straight, C. Shawn Farrell is minister of Cascade Community and Karen J. Wheeler and Angie S. Umbertino are co-ministers at Metropolitan Community. French priest and theologian Marc Oraison, who has preached that gay love is a form of Christian love, saying "If a priest preaches such a thing, then everything is ruined." (Gaylife)...

David Palmer, Director of The Human Rights Foundation's National Runaway Switchboard is currently planning a national gay switchboard using a free to the caller "1-800" number.

The national gay switchboard is scheduled to go into operation on October 1, 1978. It will operate around the clock staffed by 75 volunteers trained to give non judgmental information on sexuality and to make referrals to local organizations.
